In Thailand, resorts generally offer more facilities than Guest Houses or Hotels, are usually bigger, with a variety of villa's, bungalows or rooms. They may have swimming pool/s, bar/s, restaurant/s, shop/s & beach/es, Wifi - which may or may not be run by the resort. If you are looking for something in particular check the pages to see what facilities they offer and what is included in their tariff.
Click on the Resorts in the list to visit their Blog Space to see information about tariffs, location, promotions and facilities:
- Phi Phi Villa Resort - a boutique resort with private beach in the Tonsai bay area
- your bsuiness here
Handy hints:
- Prices on Phi Phi are high because costs are high on the island, so be prepared to pay significantly more on Phi Phi for a room. To get similar facilities to the mainland expect to pay double or more.
- In high season book before you arrive, the island fills up quickly
- There are no cars or taxis on Phi Phi island, so many resorts provide a bellboy service from the pier, which saves you having to carry your luggage - check with your resort what they offer and how you recognise them.
- Expect to pay cash for food, drinks and other extras in resorts - only a few places will let you charge extras to your room.
